Membership Agreement

  • Prior to participation in Sports Enhancement or  Personal Trainer sessions, clients must undergo a pre-participation screen-and-clearance procedure
  • Upon signing up, photo ID is required
  • If the gym member is under the age of 16, an adult guardian must be a member and present at all times
  • Clients are required to use locks at the ends of barbells at all times
  • No one should squat outside of the squat/power rack unless instructed to do so by PEC staff
  • Clients should use spotters for exercises that place the bar on the back or front shoulders and exercises that involve a bar or dumbbells moving over the face or above the head. POWER EXERCISES ARE NOT SPOTTED
  • Clients should immediately report any facility related injury or facility or equipment irregularity to PEC staff
  • Tobacco, food, chewing gum, glass bottles, cans, alcohol, drugs, and banned substances are not allowed in the strength and conditioning facility; plastic water bottles are acceptable
  • Jewelry should not be worn and Body in Balance PEC is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings
  • Clients are responsible for re-racking weights following use. Plates should never be left on the floor or leaned against equipment/walls. Under no circumstance should weights be dropped or thrown
  • Clients should minimize chalk and powder on the floor
  • Clients should wear proper training attire, specifically shirts and athletic shoes, at all times
  • Clients should show respect for equipment, Body in Balance Staff, and most importantly other clients and patients at all times
  • Body in Balance PEC staff, specifically the on-duty supervisor, has authority over all strength and conditioning facility conduct and use of equipment and may expel a client from the facility, at his or her discretion, for failure to follow instructions
